Hi Grace, what are your thoughts about xylitol sweetener, specifically Xylosweet? I use a few packs a week because I find that I just can’t eliminate sugar completely and it has been my alternative a few times a week.

…………….Hi, thanks for your question. Xylitol is a safe sweetener to use. Xylosweet is 100% xylitol so I think it’s a good sweetener.

Dear Grace, what about stevia as a sweetener? Have you tried it? I use it bit by bit and try to replace sugar with it.

…………… Hi Leva, stevia is ok as long as you use little and not all the time. I’m not a big fan of stevia. Stevia is a natural sweetener however in animal studies, stevia affects the brain similarly to artificial sweeteners. In other words, when these animals were given regular sugar after stevia, the animals ended up eating more sugar than the group that weren’t given the stevia. Hope this answers your question.
