Salsa is the perfect balance of 5 Element Cooking Method and is very high in Umami

Mango tomato salsa

  • 1 cup of mango or papaya 
  • 1 cup of tomato (if you’re sensitive to tomatoes, do not use)
  • 1/2 cup of minced white onions (if you’re sensitive to onions, do not use)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup of cilantro
  • 1 whole lime
  • optional red chili flakes, cayenne peppers, jalepeno peppers
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • serve as a side dish or part of your main dish
