Other snack options that are high in Umami:

1. Kale Chips

  • Use the leafy part of kale (1 bunch)
  • Cut kale into bite size
  • Mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Add 1 tablespoon of secret sauce
  • Optional garlic powder and sweetener

2. Nuts/Seeds

  • Handful of raw unsalted nuts (almonds, cashews)
  • Handful of raw seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame) – chew well before swallowing to release the beneficial oils of the seeds

3. Olives

  • 5-7 olivesĀ
